Vend Names Deborah Weinswig a “Top Retail Influencer for 2018”
FGRT's Managing Director ranks No. 2 on list of 100 most influential analysts, consultants and journalists worldwide

NEW YORK (December 19, 2017) – The honors keep coming in for Deborah Weinswig, Managing Director of global think tank FGRT (formerly Fung Global Retail & Technology). The retail analyst and startup advisor has been named the No. 2 retail influencer for 2018 by Vend, the cloud-based point-of-sale and retail platform.
The list consists of 100 analysts, consultants and journalists that the retail industry turns to for advice and opinions, the company said.

Vend identifies influencers using tools such as BuzzSumo, Klear and Klout, as well as by asking members of the retail community to nominate deserving individuals. The company then analyzes each nominee’s profile, articles and publications, and presence at industry events before compiling its list.
